Elections in Australia, Norway, Moscow — Syria Crisis — Journalists rescued — New news channels in South Africa, US — Moscow Times
The mostly human team of Newz of the World has intrepidly clicked and filed the most exciting pieces of journalism and is ready to present it to you, dear listener. We are starting of with the always popular reporting on the popular vote which has been cast in Australia, Norway and Moscow (among others) and we of course also share our views, insights and questions about the most recent diplomatic turns in the crisis around the war in Syria. After pointing to the recent fate of a journalist personally known to Mark, we point you to some excellent entertainment provided by South Africa's latest news channel that specializes in "sunshine journalism" and disfunctional presentation skills. As an alternative not only for South Africans we also mention the latest extension to the Al Jazeera network, the "Al Jazeera America" channel that focuses on the US public.
