OHM, Mali, Turkish Kidnapping, US Prisons, Reefer, Fracking, Australia Refugees, Hyperloop
We're back after a lovely hacker camp experience with a quick rundown of the event. The big news this morning is out of Mali where presidential election results are in. Last week two Turkish pilots were kidnapped in Beirut in connection with the Syrian conflict. The US Attorney general has announced a big plan to reform prisons and sentencing. Cannabis policies in the US and elsewhere in the world continue to open up. Hollande says no fracking for France as long as he is in charge. Australian politicians say Papua New Guinea is a dangerous gateway for refugees. And finally, Elon Musk has a rapid transit solution for California.
