Greece passes Austerity Plan, Athens Burns; Canadian Gov Proposes Data Retention Law; Sarah Palin Gets Mic Checked; US people think they will have to fight a war with Iran

As Mark is still on a trip through the US our schedule is a bit rocky but we've again managed to put together a show that takes a look at what's going on in the world. First we look at Greece that has passed the austerity plan that was forced on them by the EU while facing strong opposition on the streets by the people. Canada is about to launch a new data retention law and continues to baffle the world as the country still ranks high in perceived mental sanity but seems to be doing anything to combat this impression. Then we look at the USA, where Sarah Palin gets mic checked and the Americans seem to think they are facing a war with Iran less than 10 years after being duped into a war in Iraq. Looking into the future we report on ESA's successful launch of the new Vega space rocket and discuss the current situation of (inter-)national space programs.
